A Little About Clockwork Lemon

 

Clockwork Lemon started out as an endlessly long to-do list that I compiled during university which spanned multiple notebooks. Lists of recipes  I wished that I had time to bake  and cakes that I wanted to decorate. Eventually I completed my degree and suddenly all the time I had been wishing for was available to me.

Even with a full time (non-baking related) job I find I have extra time to bake cakes, breads, brunches, and other sugary goodness while adding to my to-do list as quickly as I cross things off. It also means time to photograph and share the recipes that I love and can't wait to make again

My blog focuses on recipes made from scratch from  homemade fondant to loaves of oatmeal bread.  It's just my tiny piece of the internet to share what I've been baking.

 

 

A Little Bit About Me

 

I'm  Stephanie and I currently live in Alberta under the big prairie sky. I share a little house with my  kitty Wellington and a whole lot of baking supplies.

I love food in general but baking in particular (especially bread).  I enjoy tackling big baking projects and teaching myself new skills with the help of the all-knowing internet. As much as I adore my collection of books I'm always in awe of how much free and useful information there is available for baking, decorating, and general DIY online.  It's part of the reason why I love to blog: I like being a part of the internet food community and sharing the things that I've learned along the way.
